RE: Atwood GC6AA-10E Water Heater Leak

Atwood says no need to use a anode rod in their tanks. Yet Camping Word will sell you one for it. Whats up with that? Camping World does sell new ones, when yours start leaking.

RE: Towing Speed

It is out of warranty so you don't have to pay any attention what the manual says. They probably didn't want to do any warranty work on new one. Pull it 75-80 MPH where legal and there is no need to stop every 200 miles if you are in that big a hurry. After all, those salvage yards have plenty of transmissions they can sell you.

RE: CAMPGROUND WIFI

Once I see that encrypted and unique to my account picture with title, I know its really my bank. I think most financial institutions have gone to doing this. If yours doesn't you are banking at the wrong place. 2 out of the 3 banks I deal with does the same thing. Even Yahoo does it.

RE: AVG 9.0

My speeds improved greatly when I shut the AVG 9 "Link Scanner" off & the "Resident Shield" off. Even using Firefox.

RE: Choosing Gasoline or Diesel Powered?

We like the Fleetwood Providence 39 and 40 foot models. These have a really nice full wall slide on the drivers side and are simply huge inside. IMHO they have everything you need and nothing you don't for a very nice brand new class A. If we were buying an under 200 new DP we would take the 40 ft one. You evidently haven't looked at the MSRP price for new ones for a while. 2010 Providence Starting at $247,002 for the 39' one. 2009 Discovery Starting at $214,200 for 37' 2010 Expedition Starting at $206,108 for 34' For under 200K the 2010 Bounder Diesel Starting at $190,568

RE: New Class A and taxes

Don't forget by trading in your MH the dealer will only give you wholesale price & maybe even less on a no slide trade in. More bullets to bite.

RE: Microwave replacement

It may be she doesn't like all the noise the fan makes using it in convection waiting on it to heat up. And while baking. I still use mine for microwave. But I bought a Toaster oven for baking or broil. It is so much quieter and almost just as fast.

RE: Progressive Industries EMS

Man! I should have called them, when mine burnt completely up at the post. I went out and bought another one. After seeing it burn up at the post. I didn't want one hard wired in a compartment.

RE: What's Going On With Class A Engines?

the Cummins 6.7 has 660 ft.lbs. of Torque In the Fred, it is limited to less then the 660 because of the transmission used and maybe the drive line. The ISB Cummins 6.7L will put out up to 350 HP and 750 ft. lb. of torque combined with the right transmission in a DP. Freightliner uses the Cummins® ISB 6.7L electronic diesel engine that provides 300 hp and a full 620 lb.-ft. of torque on the New ecoFred

RE: need some suggestions on which way to go old/newer

1.) Depreciation will be taken care of by the previous owner.... Don't we wish. They almost never stop depreciating. That 150k spent on a new or old MH will drop around 4-5k a year every year for years. :(

RE: 2002 S-10 Manual Transmission - Towable?

I called my local Chevrolet dealer and talked to a trusted person in service and he said I don't need the disconnect kit. Remco says a Driveshaft Couplings is needed on a manual 2 Wheel drive. I would go down to the local dealer and have that trusted person too sign a paper that he will replace your transmission out of his own pocket. If you have a problem. ;) Well maybe 3/4 of it. You may be responsible for part of cost for believing him.

RE: TIRE PRESSURE MONITORING SYSTEMS

For 4 years now, once I set the tire pressure in the spring. And then put the Pressure Pro sensors on. Never needed to add any more air the rest of the summer. All sensors show within - + 1-2 PSI from my gauges. Good enough for me. As I run the tires 10 PSI above chart for my 4 corner weights.

RE: Whats the best & worse of Class A-ing & Gas vs Diesel ??

Why do you say that you'd never go back to gas, from diesel ?? Same answer as asking a biker. Why do you ride a Motorcycle? If you have to ask, you will never understand. Until you have your own. :B

RE: Choosing Gasoline or Diesel Powered?

I also think that CCC is important if you want to put after market things on such as solar panels, antennas, mother-in-law, etc. Now you are saying the benefit if you get a gas model, with less CCC. You may have to tell your mother-in-law, she can't come along because you are out of CCC. :) Now you have just gone and loss some DP sells. :B
