RE: Why doesnt this unit sell ?

It is probably really close to 4 years old if you check manufacturer date. It is over priced check for like units on Craig's list and E-bay.

RE: Checking tire pressure

The easiest way to check the inside dual is using a truck tire guage with the angled head. Finding a place to fill the tires with the same type head is sometimes difficult but truck stops have them. I use a stick with a piece of rubber tube that fits on the valve caps to remove them, Good luck.

RE: Converter / inverter

Converters change 120 volts to 12 volt DC. Inverters change 12 volts DC to 120 volts AC, That said the converter will charge your batteries when the unit is on shore power. Leave the batteries on to power the 12 volt DC lights, water pump and other 12 volt items. The 120 volt AC items will be powered from the plug in. Some inverters will also charge batteries. Check your owners manual. Good luck.

RE: Dell Laptop Question

I have not experienced that condition. My battery died and I replaced it. It would show full charge and be dead in minutes. I would try Batteries Plus for a replacement. Mine from Dell was over $100. Good luck.

RE: heater core leaking on 95 Newmar Spartan chassis

My experience with heater cores is that once they start to leak the only fix is to replace them. Each unit has its unique method of attachment. On Ford Pick-ups it is a real chore to replace. The dash must be partialy remove. Good luck.

RE: Sink Repair / Replacement

I like a super glue called Hot Stuff for this type of repair. It comes in two typers, the regular and gap filler. For a hairline crack the rugular should work. I would apply it from the outside if possible. Good luck.

RE: Can you use the leveling jacks for tire removal?

On Motorhomes leveling jacks quite often raise a wheel or wheels off of the ground. On trailers stabalizing jacks are a different story, they are normally not designed to rails wheels. In any case always place blocks under the frame to support the unit incase of jack failure.

RE: what to offer?

When using nadaguides.com on a used unit you should take base value do not add in add-ons. The Starcrafts I browsed were closer to 2000 than 4750. Offer low you can alway go up but it is next to impossible to go down. Good luck.

RE: what to offer?

I could not find a Galaxy either I did look at some 2001 units and 4750 seen a but steep. I would offer no more than 3K.

RE: Weight formula for 5th Wheel

Ask a Chevy dealer to get the information for you. If you are lucky someone here will have the same truck and answer. You should include engine, transmission and axle ratio.

RE: finding non-bio diesel

In Colorado Biodiesel is much more difficult to obtain than ULSD and my old truck runs fine on that.
