Heading out tomorrow, hope to leave before noon. So will arrive sometime on Thursday. 480 miles per yahoo maps....so prefer to do this in two days.
So David you checking out some more restaurants while your there ahead of us all.

Looking for info on roads from Thunder Bay to Winnipeg. Which is better 11 or 17?
Posted on the routes forum but didn't get any replys on 11 going through International Falls.
Anyone here have info on those roads?

Marilyn I'm not a coffee drinker....but will miss you Joisee girls. Will look forward to seeing all 4 Joisee girls together at some future get together. Should be some interesting conversations and good listening for the rest of us. I'll have to read up on Joisee talk 101.

Thunder Bay to Winnepeg
Which is the best route to take.....Thunder Bay via International Falls Hwy 11, or Thunder Bay Hwy 17. Both seem to be mileage and time wise about the same per Yahoo maps. Just looking for the best road (hate driving on bumpy roads) to take having some great scenery would be a bonus.

After a long discussion last night, Chino and I cancelled our reservation this morning. My vacation time is limited and we decided to head west immediately rather than heading to GM first. We're going to miss you all, but, the Pacific is calling!
Hope you have a fun and safe Pacific adventure....
and make the most of your vacation time. I'm sure there
will be another BSG mini meet down the line that you'll be able
to make.

Pie update.....had a great pie that we bought at a farmers market in Door County Wis. today. With all the pie talk this past month we couldnt' pass up buying one ..... A blueberry, blackberry, raspberry combination. Will have to compare it to Grand Marias pies next month. We rated the pie we had today as a 8 on a scale of 10.

Salt Lake City
Thinking of spending a few days in Salt Lake City. There is a KOA in town....wondering if anyone has stayed there and how the free shuttle to downtown worked for them.
Or any other campgrounds near the downtown area.
