sunline5er I been dealing with the same battle as you are , both great rigs not much diffrents weight, cost,or lenghts. we are leaning toward the 3185. good luck.

sunline5er, that weight slip was with wife, myself,{ 220} our wennier dog also a pullrght hitich & aux.40 gal tank . both tanks filled .ready to go.I'am sure the aux. tank adds 300 to 350 ?

Jimnlin, I did upgrade the tires to 265's e-rated goodyear's better wt rating on them , at the same time I also upgraded on my 5th to 16" e-rated tires & rims. I just don't what any troubles out on the road. alot of tire failures with the d rated tires stock on the wildcats, as well as rims and valve stems. Just thinking about a better 5th wheeler . wanted a 4 season would like 3 slides 30 to 35 footers .any suggestions?? I guess the first one is get a 1 ton!!

thanks to all , I haven't bought it yet all though the stealership keeps saying you can pull much bigger unit . just don't want awhite knuckle ride !!! want to remain safe for all. just weight the truck at a cat scale !!! filled up fuel wife and dog,ready to go 7860lbs.boy was I surprized! thank again.

still confused, 07 25oohd ext.cab duramax&allison. 9200gvw, bh3185 dry wt.11,076 gwvr14,000 .tv 5th rated 14500. is this a good combo?

right now 2500 hd durama x allie want to keep the truck, wife looking at a bighorn 3610re. guess a 3500 would best for this rig

Fundelm, We also looked at both of trailers and also choose the Wildcat 28rkbs over the cougar. But you must be the one who will be happy! Hadn't any major troubles,with this unit to speak . jim

frank-2 We also have a rear kitchen 5th , no shocks , but we do have trailer-air equail-flex .Never had a mess, have forgot a laptop on the table never moved all day. jim
