RE: Roadtrek 'clamps'

Thanks for all your responses, really helpful. Yes, I did call RT dealer and they will order up a set of 'clips'. While I think screwing the darn panels to the door is the best idea too, that's not something I can do, so will have RT install new clips. Thanks again!

Roadtrek 'clamps'

I am sorry I don't know the proper names or descriptions for these, hopefully I can make myself clear!
On the fiberglass panels around at the bottom of the two front doors there are a couple little 'clamps' on each door that hold the panel more or less in place to avoid flapping in the wind. A couple of mine are missing! And while these are not the main connection point of the panels I think they are important to replace.
Can anyone tell me where to order them? or do I need to go to a Roadtrek dealer?
Thanks in advance for your always excellent help!! Diana
p.s. Mine is a 03 Chevy 'V' Roadtrek

RE: Winterize in Austin?

Thank you for all the great information! Given my situation...parked outside, no plug in, our of town for several weeks....winterizing will be the safest thing to do. I will just put it off for a couple weeks and maybe squeeze in another camping trip! Thanks....

Winterize in Austin?

I have a 03 Roadtrek V and will be in Austin TX for the winter. The RT will be parked outside and not plugged in. While I understand about HOW, I am really confused about WHEN to winterize. In Austin the AVERAGE cold temp is 42 in Dec, 40 in Jan, and 44 in Feb. Based on those numbers it doesn't seem necessary, but I know it often freezes here too, especially when that cold air drops down from Rockies.
Can anyone offer guidelines to help me determine if it's necessary to winterize my rig?
