RE: Microsoft - XP vs 7

I just got a new laptop with 7. Not being a guru networking has kind of been a hassle for me. I got connected to my XP desk top and internet so fast I thought I screwed up. No flash drives or other hoops to jump through. In only a couple of weeks I already like my 7 much better than XP. Lots of little frills you probably dont need but it is just plain fun working with it. My Aero quit working cause I kept screwing with stuff. Just typed in Aero in search and it popped up a self fix in nothing flat.

RE: 47 or 52 inch?

A little more info please. We have all 4.3 TVs and lots of places I see 16.9's the characters in the picture all look short and fat. Especially live sports. The owner of the set doesn't seem to notice that. I am sure it isnt just me as I have other people mention that. Whats up with that?

RE: New Tab?

You might try holding down the shift key when you click on a link. That will open a new window in Internet Explorer.
Tom
Thanks, just figured out if you hold down the control key in FF it will open in a new tab. A smidgen simpler but the auto one click would be a preferred method for me. After visiting all the other forums the two step process doesn't come easy for some of use lazy ole duffs.

47 or 52 inch?

Thinking about a new Flat panel. A few bucks more will get you the 52 inch. My question is for viewing is there any difference in clarity between a 47 or 52 inch at 15 feet? You can look at 'em in the stores all day and they all look different so its hard to judge. Also whats this new LED deal, why are they so much more?

New Tab?

I belong to lots of forums on various subjects and this is the only one that will not open a posted link in a new tab without right clicking and asking it to do so. I have the latest Fire Fox. I think I have looked everywhere to change it. What am I missing here?

RE: REALLLLY Big Mobile Suite

If I was going to spend that much money I sure wouldn't buy it off the dealers lot. I would have it built just for US!

RE: Shower Door shatters

Ours shattered. Cost about $100 to have new glass installed in the door. I did the work myself. Note: If wife has too much wine help her past the shower!

We are in that club also. Best thing that ever happened. Junked the whole awning and put on a Carefree Eclipse electric. One of our favorite up grades we have.

Snowriver (Snowbird) made the first truck camper with a slide out. If that is relevant to the thread. :h

RE: NJ State campgrounds and dogs

After being dogless for most of my 60+ years I let my wife talk me into one a couple of years ago. Cute little dickens! I think I can now speak objectively on dog matters. Dogs (and cats) are a giant pain in the fanny! I have spoken. :p

RE: Waste Water Tote...which one?

I have one of those Barker indicators and if you were closer I would just give it to you. I dont trust 'em because they are pretty cheaply built. If you are paying attention while you are dumping into the tank you wont over flow it. Get one of these and put it on the end of you sewer pipe and shut it off and take a peek into your tank every once in a while.
