RE: "Push" effect

I do...and I have done it to my camping buddy when we travel down the road together. If the vehicle behind you gets too close, the rear of your trailer will get light and tend to dance back and forth a bit.

RE: Champion 3500 watt RV generator

We are brand new to camping and just bought our first camper. One thing we will be doing is a fair amount of dry camping at antique tractor shows. You can usually use generators, but you need a fairly quite model like Honda or Onan. Tractor Supply has a Champion 3500 Watt for 299.99. Is this a reliable and quiet generator or is a Honda or Onan better? and right now if you buy one you get a $50 Gift certificate. I bought one at Tractor Supply several weeks ago but have not even had it out of the box !!

RE: Brunswick Md campground

.... You can't see the trains from the campground because of the trees, but I guarantee you can hear them, all day and all night. AlanC 36' Monaco Dynasty Ditto that...we live on the hill above the railyard...and the engines idle relentlesly..they only shut down for Christmas. I can't sleep if he trains aren't runnin' ! You do get the occasional freight train but mornings and evening are all commuter trains passing thru.

RE: Whats the correct way to hich yout trailers weight dist bars

The way I do it is, once the hitch is on the ball, I flip the latch then raise the tongue(and back of the truck) up 3-4" or until my whimpy electric jack stalls out. Then I hook up the bars and then lower the jack. This places the preload on the bars. Thats the way I do it !!!

RE: Life without an air compressor.....don't get it

I have four compressors !!!! One rides in the truck all the time...one in the garage, two in the basement workshop.

RE: best electric brake control?

Prodigy is the most popular here in this forum...we had one in the last truck and it worked great. Easy set-up and adjustment.

RE: Day/Night folding shades

Same here, the day part of the shades are just that - for DAY use. Put a 12V bright light behind you and your the nightly park entertainment!!!! Oh drats...you had to go and tell him that !!!! :B:B

RE: Day/Night folding shades

so is it the day /lighter shades you are upset about or the heavier shades that have you upset ?? We have no issues with the heavoer shade, but the lighter ones at night do not do anything for modest folks
