RE: Brunswick Md campground

.... You can't see the trains from the campground because of the trees, but I guarantee you can hear them, all day and all night.

Ditto that...we live on the hill above the railyard...and the engines idle relentlesly..they only shut down for Christmas. I can't sleep if he trains aren't runnin' !
You do get the occasional freight train but mornings and evening are all commuter trains passing thru.

RE: Whats the correct way to hich yout trailers weight dist bars

The way I do it is, once the hitch is on the ball, I flip the latch then raise the tongue(and back of the truck) up 3-4" or until my whimpy electric jack stalls out. Then I hook up the bars and then lower the jack. This places the preload on the bars.
Thats the way I do it !!!

RE: best electric brake control?

Prodigy is the most popular here in this forum...we had one in the last truck and it worked great. Easy set-up and adjustment.

RE: Day/Night folding shades

so is it the day /lighter shades you are upset about or the heavier shades that have you upset ??
We have no issues with the heavoer shade, but the lighter ones at night do not do anything for modest folks

RE: How many tractors does it take to pull a 5er?

Was there a 4X4 TV in there? I didn't see that. Saw some duallys, and HDT's, but none with front wheels pulling.
The dually is four wheel drive

I get the heavy duty hose at Wal-Mart, Brown in color. Have also looked at the Rhino hoses they sell as well...maybe next Spring I can seel the DW on splurging for a new hose...we just replaced our first set of hoses this past Spring (4 years old).

if you only left it a couple minutes you should be okay...if five, ten or longer...that is another story.
Air shoulr have went up the vent pipe but then agin so would water.
I am not sure if I would open the toilet gate as it could back flow into the bowl or worse !!!

RE: Why does my propane tank 'tick'?

LP stands for Liquid Propane. Your tank is filled with LP which provides you with Propane Gas once you open the valve. The ticking sound is most likely the OPD (Overfill Protection Device) inside the tank.
