I have a new Nash trailer with water pump problems.
When using the pump the faucets spit out lots of air. I get no air when connected to outside water. The water pump also does not shut off, but runs at low speed when the faucets are closed. I assume this is due to air in the lines, preventing full pressurization.
I would prefer to fix this myself as the dealer wants to keep the unit and I want to have it at home. I checked the incoming line to the pump(in areas where I can see it) for loose hose clamps and they're all fine.
Any suggestions?

Sounds like a air is getting into the system between the pump and the Hose connection. Could be the adjustment for cycling on pump.
Try crimping the output line on the pump to close it off (easy does it with a pair of vise grips, pretend you are doing heart surgery) Turn the pump on, if it pressurizes and stops running, you got a leak after the vise grips some where. If it still cycles, the problem is in the pump.

Well I would suspect an intake hose.
2003 Jayco 308fbs eagle 33' tt, towed by a 2003 Ram 3500 slt, quad cab dually, cummins diesel ho, trailer towing package, with 6 speed manual. Hauls better 1/2, 3 kids, myself, and a 2003 ez go clays car.. I have added so far, neon lights, clearance lights, back up lights, black light, lift kit, mud tires, and everything necessary to make the golf cart street legal. It's now ready to spend the winter in the garage for more mods. More neon, strobe lights, alarm, a pa system, maintance, and whatever else that comes along. This golf cart does wheelies and travels thru 7 inches of mud when need be. Two honda eu2000i gens twinned to supply the electrical power. Latest addition an 04 Honda Goldwing. Intake may be right, that would make it continuously cycle if it can't get enough water.

Maybe a dumb question but is the tank full of H2O ? Or is there a winterizeing valve open? (probably they don't have them in CA)
Could be the head on the pump sucking air. Good luck, Ray

The tank is full, that was my first thing to check. I've also messed around with the winterizing valve. I'm thinking of just taking it out of there, there's quite a collection of fittings and clamps in the 1 foot of hose before the pump. Any of those could be the culprit. I'm also wondering about that clear plastic filter, I can see the air inside it.
I'm almost ready to take it in and let the shop work on it.

End of story: There was an air leak in the mess of connectors just before the pump. I let the dealer attack it and they removed the winterizing set-up between the pump and the fresh water tank. No more air!

Phill,
I would have required the dealer to fix the problem correctly as you may need the winterizing valve assembly at some point. It takes much less RV antifreeze when using the winterizing bypass. Also, if the antifreeze is put in the tank, it takes much more water flushing to get it all out in the spring.
