Time to get rid of the OEM Mission Tires. Anybody have anything to say about these two tire makers? I'm running with ST225/75 R15 D's and it seems these are about the only makers that have a load range E in the same size. I'm pretty sure I can't stuff 16" under my rig so I'd like to go with the E range and new metal valve stems. Thanks and this site is a wealth of info.

Some Titan info:

I think all Titan tires are made in Quincy, Illinois.

Boatdoc,
I do not have either brand yet, but like you I have ST225/75R15 LRD tires. I could probably squeeze 16's under my trailer, then I would have to re-level my trailer, and right now it is level. Titan and Denman are the only ones I can find in a load range E, 10 ply, to replace what I have. The local Goodyear dealer found a warehouse where he can get the Denman tires for me at $100 each. Make sure that you get the bolt in metal valve stems, as the rubber with metal snap in valve stems are only rated for 60 psi and the 10 ply runs up to 80 psi. I just had all of my valve stems changed to bolt in valve stems after blowing 3 of the metal insert type. The Goodyear dealer was taking me to work when the third one blew. With the dually I had blown one and did not know it an it was an inner tire. I thought I had ball joints going out because the truck got soft steering due to the flat tire.
Someone on here responded to me that they were using Denman's, when I asked about Denman tires before. No one else had anything to say negative or positive. I plan to go to Denman, as no one has reported blow outs on this brand, but they have the Titan.
