First off I want to thank everyone who has contributed to the outfitter post. I have learned more here that I ever thought possible. I have been lurking for a few weeks and doing research based on info from this forum. That being said, I am taking delivery of an '06 F-250 PS 4x4 this week and I'm flying up to Denver this weekend to visit the Outfitter factory and if they check out, place my order for an Apex 8.
This has been a longtime dream of mine and I feel like a kid at Chirstmas! Any one want any specific info from the tour, let me know.
Thanks again for all your time and advice.

You don't take PM's, but I was going to say if you have some time to kill there are a couple of dealers here that carry a lot of TC's on the lot if you wanted to check some out. 5Star RV in Henderson and the Lance guy...Suburban RV I think on North Washington. I don't think either carry Outfitter though, but viewing is always fun.

Congrats on the truck, good luck on the TC. Let me know if you need any Denver regional info.

While you're up in Colorado you may consider checking out the Hallmark factory. They also make a very nice pop-up.

'PM' is 'private message'. In order for people to send you personal messages or to email you directly, you have to go onto the page, 'My Forums' and then 'My Preferences'. There you can check off combinations of boxes to give people as much access to you as you care to give.

Good to hear from you 'blindhog'!

I'm planning to fly to Denver/Longmont in mid-November.

What is 'PS'???

As you may know, we are also planning to acquire an '06 F250 4x4, shortly.

I'd be interested to hear _all_ about your F250 and Outfitter acquisition experiences. Pictures are always viewed here with enthusiasm!

Right now, I'm trying to find out what camper configurations that Outfitter might have on its showroom floor (I'm trying to get a close-up and personal view of a Caribou). We are planning to get a Caribou 6.5 but I would even be happy to be able to get into a Caribou 8 shell. I have emails into Outfitter but have not heard back yet as to what we can expect to see.

What options do you plan to get to configure your Apex 8??? Give us all the 'dirt'!

Welcome and good luck on your trip.

I think it means Power Stroke (Ford's Diesel engine).

PS=Power Stroke.

I've heard a couple not-so-happy ford owners translate it differently:
PS=Piece (of) S{omethingYouDontWantToStepIn}

Don't take this as troll bait. Trucks is tools. They all have good points and bad.

I now return you to the informative content of this topic.
