Two more trailers I found on a recent camping trip.

This one, I talked to the owner and asked if I could take a picture of it. It's a 30 year old pop-up that they've owned for 2 years I think he said. Said all the applianced and fabrics are original and it was well taken care of when they bought it. Looked really good for the age it was!

This one pulled into the campsite next to us. Don't think they owned it or knew what they were doing. Used a green garden hose for their fresh water and when pulling out the next morning he unhooked it from his trailer and washed out his sewer hose with it. YUCK!

Hey Trish,

That's funny you buying that Travco right by me. I'm about 5-6 miles away from there. Funny how some people can see the "Golden Nugget" and some don't. I did too. The day I took that picture, it looked like someone had taken it out for a test drive and the owner was putting it back out front.

I hope you get the remodel finished the way you want it. Please send us some pictures when your done. I'd really like to see them. (before and after shots) I like seeing these old RV's saved and used again.

Please keep us posted. Mich60

That's interesting. There was a piece of paper inside the door that said it was a Shasta Compact. I wonder if there is a same parent company for these?

Saw this one today, your guess is as good as mine, probably better.

It kind of reminds me of a older Kit. I wouldn't bet on it though.
That bottom emblem sort of looks like a Moose Lodge or maybe an Elks logo.

They were not ever the same company, but were often sold through the same dealers.

The trailer is definately not a Shasta Compact. The roofline is different from the Shasta Compacts of that era. Also, that trailer has jalousie window in the back. The Shasta had a solid window back there.

Here's a pic to show what I mean...

My guess would be a Mobile Scout like the green one pictured...

I would also think with the raised roof would cause a nice wind push----downward which may lighten you tongue weight!
