PEACESEEKERS wrote: any suggestion on "pot luck" make a dish to feed how many people and what kind of a dish?
I would say that a 12oz filet mignon & a 2lb lobster per person is a good start

Not sure if we are doing Luau type food but whatever you bring just make a family serving. Every body brings stuff and there is plenty of food.
Now if robo wants to supply the lobsters and filet I will cook them., even though I am not a big meat eater or fan of Lobster.

We'll be bringing the favoured Va. brown sugar ham. MMmmmm. And with some pineapple, it'll be a Hawaiian dish. Sort of.

As I mentioned earlier, we are doing sweet and sour chicken (or pork) Thats as Hawaiian as we are getting.
Peaceseekers, its great to hear from you again. Glad you are participating in the site decoration too. I think the North East Loop will look pretty cool all decorated (with music via choxs)
Cindy- Your pineapple cake sounds like a great idea- and Jay, the ham is "kewl" (see, I am talking VaJay style!!)

I'll think of something to bring. Doubt it'll be a Hawaiian dish. I could make a watergate salad which has pineapple in it! It's not an actual salad so I don't know why it's called that! It has mini marshmallows, pineapple chunks, cool whip, pistachio pudding mix.... Hmmmmm........
