We travel with our Lance 815 on a 2500HD Silverado. We meet wonderful people. RVing/camping is a great way to practice for our retirement(someday ) while we are still working. Traveling is a wonderful stress releiver. Drive safe, God Bless.

Elizabeth and Dick.

Wow, what a great job on the planning. You must have been working hard to get this all arranged so quickly. We have put it on our calendar and we will be there. We will make our reservations this week. It is going to be fun to keep this post going for the next year or so.

Thanks for setting this up,
Rob and Jayne

54suds,
I was in my 20s, in the Navy, and looking mostly for Bars. If any of those are bars I might have been there but sure don't remember now. Did like the lake though and did some climbing in the Mt Marcy area up north and skiing at Gore Mt. I'm looking forward to visiting the ADKs again after ...ahem 40+ years. At $30 per night I might try to make a week of it. Come to think of it the Canteen sounds familiar, was that a kinda weathered looking place right on the lake?

Good job Elizabeth. Are you a wagon mistress?

Thats BIG, all caps, eh TD.

I was a regular at the canteen and once in a while at the garrison until I went in the Navy. I'm sure I tripped over you once or twice.

Wow only three days old and only 30 sites left. I'm glad someone talked me out of having this in our yard.
Glad to hear from our veteran campers, and welcome to newcomers Gerry & Hazel and Ron, Jennifer& Dorothy.
