As you can tell this shot was taken with the zoom lens. This was the best we could do without trespassing. This was on Marrowstone Island, across from Port Townsend.

There are so many of these white VWs around that I am going to have to start logging license numbers. This was at the Costco in Sequim.

This is one VW that would not qualify as a stealth. We just managed to catch it as it whipped by in the WalMart lot in Sequim.

Terrific captures Wayne!...glad to see your wife's get'n involved in our quest!

BTW, this pink VW gives me a hanker'n for 'Woodstock'...

Took a short drive (120 miles one-way) to 'Satellite Beach' for a bite of 'Bizzaro's' pizza yesterday afternoon......along the beat'n path I spotted this 'B' pictured below:

If any of my sightings/captures seem repetitive please acknowledge!..."repetitive?" you ask!...cause this rear-end REALLY rings a bell...

This CVC owner truly is in a state of 'Leisure' (as the tire carrier reads) judging by his/her lack of attention paid to rusting issues...

IMO, there has to be at least one passenger riding with this 'B' driver, noting it's parked in a motel lot......too much to drink on 'The Fourth'...

Golly gee!...after taking a gander @the frontal view of this CVC I now discover this 'B', in all actuality to be SCREAMING 'B+'...

Here are my daily offering of VWs and one DIYer.
Wayne

This VW was parked in front of the seafood joint in Port Townsend where we were having lunch.

This DIYer has good road clearance. It was in front of the local Safeway.

This VW was in front of the local Goodwill where we were dropping of some stuff.

Jack
By the way, did you notice the little peace symbol on the back window of the pink VW?

DW & I were shopping @our local Wal*Mart yesterday when we spotted this:

Mounted on the windshield was a 'For Sale' sign which was obscured from camera-view, not a convenient capture......so we circled the sighting (on-the-ride) for some much more interesting views

I contemplated waiting-out this 'Class B' owner with hopes of un-folding critical information regarding the sale of this CVC...

From this camera angle you can certainly see a rear mounted back-up camera mounted up-top centered on the roofs gutter line...

The addition of a house-hold AC unit with-in the drivers side rear window indicates (to me) either a lack of roof-top AC efficiency or a rotten tooth up there...

IMHO, this rear passenger door mounted roof access ladder install would be no match for the additional weight and bouncing of some sort of bike carrier...

BTW, never did meet the owner...

Hit The Road Jack, were you able to get the name of the Van Manufacture. It looks like a Turtle Top Week-Ender Van made in New Paris, IN.

I had one that I ordered new in 1990 traded it in 1999, I had the 4 captain chairs with the one sofa against the wall, slept 2, was a 1990 Ford Econoline.

It was a nice unit we enjoyed it.

I have also included 2 images of a Sierra Van Camper made in Elkhart, IN, someone I knew in my city had one, nice looking unit.

Hopefully the following images can be viewed, if unable to anyone who would like to see them send me a E-mail, being> RRCRT@aol.com

Hi Ron!

I saw no visible manufacturer markings on the 'Chevy' rig I've posted above!

Judging by the two photo's below (your 1st 'Photobucket' link pictured on top)......I think we've got a 'Turtle Top' match...
