I think a rally is in order! My friend at NuRVers.com and I have been talking about this for a while. Let's make it happen this year!
I began fulltiming at 21, Im 26 now. I have never owned a stix and brix house, except for several investment properties, but I have never lived in any of them.
Positively LOVE the fulltime RV lifestyle. Love the interesting folks I meet and can hardly wait to get down the road to see whats next and who's there.
And I am Ssoooooo coming to the "youngster" rally too.

i was wondering if any of the more seasoned young full-timers might have advice or insight as to finding other young families out on the road. do you have trouble finding other kids for yours to have friendships?
Ahh, Families on the Road is where you should begin!

Haven't been on this forum for a bit....and I was so pleased to find this post when I returned!
My husband and I have been fulltiming for over two years (started at 26 and 27 y/o), have a 38ft KZ Escalade 5th wheel. We love the lifestyle and never look back. It has been the biggest blessing in our life other than finding each other!
Wow, I'm so happy to see so many other young fulltimers out there! Hooray for NuRvers!

I started full-timing at 23 when I found out I had cancer and couldn't work so I got a 30' Teton 5er with a Chevy, got married and continued for 5 years before we settled down, adopted 2 sons and got into retail management. Now I'm 44 and DW's 38, our sons are out on their own, we left the retail business and our house had a nice equity built up so we sold it and bought a Bounder and went back to our first love fulltiming.

Its cool to find a thread about younger full timers. I'm 42, I'm mobile in my travel trailer although I do have a shack/storage place in the mountains which I stay at some. I am a web master with mobile broadband so that's how I work camp. The idea of a rally sounds great!

I've got about the same gig! I do custom database applications for the web, as well as site management, implementation, etc - everything but design. I couldn't design my way out of a wet paper bag
Check out NüRVers. There is a member map on there, and we are trying to find a way to get a bunch of us together next year. As LiveWorkDream.com mentioned, a few of us are going to get together in Denver soon. It will be a test gathering to see if the campground can handle us
