This is going to sound too vague because we're looking for preliminary info. We have a 34 foot Class A that my husband can't drive that much any more because of disability problems.

We'd like to find a campground "down south" (from South Carolina to Arizona...) where it would be warm during the winter. Looking for somewhere where we could store it and then use it during the winter. During the summer, we might want to move it to other locations.

We don't want to buy a place (no memberships, etc.) because we don't want to be tied to the same place. Some amenities that would be desirable are:
- Near beach or river (husband loves water)
- Not too isolated
- Some activities around (shopping and casinos are NOT activities for us!)
- Well maintained and clean area with friendly people!

If you know of some places like this where we could rent a spot and/or store the unit from month to month, please let me know.

Try Encore Habor Lakes at 3737 El Jobean Rd. Port Charlotte Fl 33953.
We have been here since 1 Dec 07 and would recommend it is a clean and friendly place. Although it seems that the goal of the park is to convert to totally park models to guarantee year round income.

We're focusing our questions a little. Specifically, we're looking for storage areas (with or without a CG in "exremely Southern" states like Florida, Alabama, Louisiana, texas, New Mexico, Arizona, and California. If you can, please send me rates, too.

I wouldn't recommend leaving an RV here in Florida during Hurricane seasons..........
