We too have a Radiolabs WiFi antenna that really brings the signal in. I love it. I have several pictures of the handmade extension pole I made up for the antenna. We never leave home without it. There are antennas out there from $25 to $200. I would not bother with anything but a USB powered antenna and go for at least a 15 db unit. See link to photos of ours..

If you look here
you can find a link to the rvwifi antenna that you can see on both our motorhome and the toad in the picture at the top of the page. It will pretty much eliminate any weak wifi problems you have. I can't recall a campground we have been in since we mounted the two of them where we couldn't get the local wifi. Excellent product, made in the USA.

I use the Superpass directional at the bottom of the page on the link. Bought last year from guy out of Canada on Ebay.
