Hi to all the Calico Gang! Glad everyone is having a good time.

I was going to Drive out their to Calico yesterday for the day and visit but had some things come up around here that I had to take care of.

Born and raised Southern Californian and I have never been to Calico or Death Valley, now the beach’s & beach campgrounds from Cardiff by the sea all the way up to Pismo we camped at a lot, my Dad's fave was Gaviota & Jalama for surf fishing, spent a lot of time in those 2 campgrounds as a kid.

Discovered the River at or around 10 years old when a friend of mines parents bought a place out there in Blythe on the river while his dad lived at that place for a year while he was building all the brick buildings in town, he was a union brick layer.

Boy where those the good ole days back when the dinosaurs roamed the earth.....LOL

Hope Burnetta is doing well. Take good care of her. It sure would have been nice if SHE could have been there with us.
