Oh, but you do have a class; it's called the TC class or in other words: " The Class.

Maybe an "A-"?
And as an owner of a TC, how come we don't have "class"? What's wrong with "Class D"? Even my insurance company doesn't know what I own!
Me: I need insurance on my truck camper.
Them: So it's a trailer...
Me: No, it's a TRUCK CAMPER; it slides into the bed of a pickup truck, and is then attached to said truck.
Them: Right. So it's a trailer...
Me: No, it's a TRUCK CAMPER; it slides into the bed of a pickup truck, and is then attached to said truck.
Them: Oh, okay. It's a truck cap...
Me: Argh!!!!!
No respect, I tell ya, no respect.

To the OP.. First: This is not a challange, but a request for informaiton.
In order for me to send a letter to the FMCA supporting your position, which I suspect I wish to do.. I need to know where to find their offensive Poor Concept article (Get it, PC, Poor Concept)
Please post the issue and page of the FMCA magazine or a link to the article on their web site so that I can properly reference it in my letter. Thank you in advance

Ii is NOT FMCA that renamed them!! It is RVIA that made the change in 2000, some 8 years ago. Check it out at RVIA.org

This probably goes back to the fact that some "High Class" campgrounds only allow Class A's (and there also is an age limit). These "Super C's" are technically not allowed even though many cost more than the A's.
Wait just a minute, I think I feel a tear coming.....
There are also campgrounds that don't allow Truck Campers, even though counting the truck, they can cost more than an "A", "B", or "C". Other campgrounds won't allow the Truck Camper to be unloaded at the camp site.
I think the "CLASS" is which group PEOPLE think they are in!!!
