I saw a post in the shout box at the bottom of the Adventures of Tioga & George blog page. The blog post date I bring up is 6/14 and it don't seem that it has been updated since. The Shout Box post is dated 6/20 and says "Sorry to hear the recent news on the other forum. RIP George. I hope they are able find his killer. What an aweful way to go" is this a hoax? has anyone heard from George? I do hope he is safe.

I saw that and was getting ready to post the same question. I've been searching other RV forums and can't find anything like what the poster mentions. I think it's either a miscommunication or a hoax. If it's the latter, well then, that's one cruel, heartless, S.O.B.

I'll do some checking, but what I'm afraid some other forum probably carried his theft incident and it got misconstrued and blown way out of proportion. If I hear something I'll post right away.

I agree with both of you. I have been searching the forums and Internet since I saw the post at 6 am. This was my last resort to find out if someone knew what was going on. On his last blog post he said he would be back into LA at 2 pm yesterday.

I also saw that Shoutbox entry about 6 am this morning and spent hours searching other forums to see if there was any information to shed light on this. When I found nothing at all on many forums that would have talked about him I started to feel better that the Shoutbox entry was just to get a rise out of us. There have been a lot of nasty postings lately.
Hope someone will let us know when George checks in...

Folks I need to ask everyone a big favor here please. Until we get facts please keep this here and to a minimum as we all know how rumors can get started and would hate for his family to see something like this here so until we can confirm something lets keep it to a dull roar and in house please. I'm sure Dianne agrees. I am doing some checking and hope to receive a call before long. If i do I'll post. From here on out please post facts only. Thanks
On edit I have searched several Tel-Aviv news sources with no info thus far.
