I'm leaning towards Happy Camper....but am still in the research process; thus looking at Passport America also. Does Escapees have discount camping nationwide...or just their own parks? Oh...and Good Sam too...I don't know why I thought they were only 10% discounters.
I'm a bit dizzy, I admit it...I'm on information overload...and not much time to get myself all squared away.

Why Full-Timing? Because at my age, I have maybe 40 more chances to see flowers bloom.

I have been a member of PassPort America for years and have been able to use it several times a years. It more than pays for the cost of the dues.
Having no experience with Happy Camper, I can not say.

If I must be sandwiched into a private campground, I prefer not to pay the rack rate. Since Passport America has the largest selection of participating campgrounds offering a 50% discount, particularly where I travel, their membership worked best for me.
But... I travel throughout the year and am flexible enough to work around the restrictions. YMMV

Do any of you use Campclub USA? I am thinking about it but have to join prior to knowing where the campgrounds are. We do use Passport America.

Opps. No Chet, I can't explain it. Except to say that when one has a bazillion windows open on the computer, one should really try to make sure they've clicked on the page of the company they *thought* they were reading.
I keep telling myself to breathe...slow...in....out. But I'm not listening to me!
Sorry for the goof. There's that information overload again.

I would highly recommend that you consider PassPort America as your first choice. You will normally save more than your membership costs after just about 4 nights. We have been members for nearly 5 years now.
We received a membership to Happy Campers as a retirement gift a couple of years ago. After closer examination we found that about 95% of the campgrounds that Happy Campers had Passport America also had, plus PA had hundreds and hundreds in addition to what Happy campers had. We never once used the Happy Camper program and needless to say we did not renew our membership.
Good luck.

We use Passport America as often as possible. We also have Good Sam, FMCA and Escapees. They do not offer the same benefits as PA.
