Geeeez!!! Lighten up Dave!!! There are those of us that like the ambience and a little extra heat to boot... It's not always about the money or convenience or even WalMart...

Les, Great comment. Dave probably plays a harmonica so he doesn't have to buy a radio.

Agreed! On nearly every thread, someone has to make some kind of childish attack on the OP. These posts are neither constructive nor needed. I can't figure it out. Now, can we talk about the 13K fiver I'm wondering if I can tow with my F-150?

I gave my opinion, sorry you didn't agree. I am always open to other opinions, even if it doesn't agree with my thoughts. I don't think of this as childish attacks, just a different point of view.
2003 Jayco 308fbs eagle 33' tt, towed by a 2003 Ram 3500 slt, quad cab dually, cummins diesel ho, trailer towing package, with 6 speed manual. Hauls better 1/2, 3 kids, myself, and a 2003 ez go clays car.. I have added so far, neon lights, clearance lights, back up lights, black light, lift kit, mud tires, and everything necessary to make the golf cart street legal. It's now ready to spend the winter in the garage for more mods. More neon, strobe lights, alarm, a pa system, maintance, and whatever else that comes along. This golf cart does wheelies and travels thru 7 inches of mud when need be. Two honda eu2000i gens twinned to supply the electrical power. Latest addition an 04 Honda Goldwing. I agree with you 100% RVNDAVE. IMHO the "childish attacks" were made by a mod and others to your post.

Hey thanks to all who responded! I respect and weigh everyone's opinion equally. Personally, we like the ambiance of a fireplace. It brings warmth to our home in many ways. Had the real deal in my stick house and always had a fire burnin'. Thanks again!

In his original post, he was never looking for your opinion as to whether or not he should purchase a fireplace. You just gave it to him unsolicited. Goes for bumpy as well.
Good advice is always wanted and appreciated. Personal opinion and experience as to TT heating options was not was requested by the OP. That is my point of view.

denmar528 wrote: Hello again! I hope you are all enjoying your summer! I certainly love life in the campground! Anyway, here is my question...I am looking to install one of those electric fireplace inserts in my TT. Can anyone give me some tips or advice on purchasing a good brand. We are also {{{looking for something to throw off a little heat}}} during those cool winter evenings. Planning on going full time in the next few months and making some mods in TT before doing so.
Thanks again for all your help!

"Looking for something to throw off a little heat", and I quote. A small cube heater was my opinion of what was best.

Hey,. if he had already bought one, I wouldn't have commented, or at least not the same way. If I see someone that is about to make what I consider to be a foolish error, I will warn them. they can take the advice or not, that is their choice. I will continue to do so, thank you for your opinion however.
