We recently purchased A new Fun Finder X160.
(decided to go smaller this time)

We took it out this past weekend and had a GREAT time.
Upon returning from a walk we found it kind of funny looking at all the huge tt's around and then our 16 footer parked right between them all. Got me thinking ...does size matter all that much to everyone.
And then that thinking lead to this...

But honestly we couldn't be anymore happy with our new little TT.

Well to be honest, if it was to me, I would be pulling a tear drop. My wife wanted to go bigger with the "A" and insisted on the slides.
I will also comment on your tail light. I see that its wet, so you can't be wrong on "It's how you us it". Bill

I spent 4 months straight in an old 17'shasta back around 93. Pulled to job sights all over Texas. Never really thought about it being small back then. It was just me and I loved it.

Hi, I have a 18 ft trailer and it has all the amenities of a big one , queen size bed , air , microwave, 17.5 mpg towing. I sleep inmy trailer , I go camping , I spend all my time outside. Having sofas and fire places and flat screen tv's , home entertainment centers do nothing for me . Mine is a trailer for two, enjoy your new purchase and think of how much money is in your pocket. I don't need a special truck with a big beefy motor to swallow fuel. I have money left over to go to nice campgrounds....... Enjoy

Those were our exact thoughts when we decided to go smaller this time around. Glad to hear you are enjoying yours as much as we are ours.

I think size only matters if it matters to you. Personally, I prefer a smaller trailer. Unfortunately, we just can't camp comfortably in a small trailer. We're still hauling two teens, plus friends, plus all their shoes plus our giant poodle. So we recently sold our 19ft for a 28ft TT w/slide. Lots of beds now, but I miss our little trailer.

I wanted a TT that I could handle while towing. Yes we wanted all the ammenities such as the queen bed, large bath etc but we both knew most of our time would be spent outside.
I have seen people hit trees and other vehicles while trying to make a turn with these very long TT's and I'm glad I stayed under 30 feet.

Size always matters, but of course it always boils down to personal preference. From my observations when it comes to TT's, familys tend to gravitate towards ~30 footers, while empty nesters (who haven't moved to a MH or 5er) often settle for something a little shorter.
Statistically, very few stay with anything in the sub-20 foot area, but who knows, maybe that will change.
In our case we traded from a 30 footer to our 25 footer and are very happy (easier to tow and fit on provincial park campsites we prefer). But I wouldn't want anything smaller, that's for sure.
