We just sold our 32 ft fiver and got an 18 ft. Eco. Love Love Love the new baby TT. It is so easy to tow and park. It has everything we need! On rainy days though, I can't say I don't miss the extra room, but 99% of the days, I am soooo happy to have my baby TT.

Of course size matters! The smaller the better in my opinion. We have a 13' Road Runner by Sun Valley. It looks like half of a trailer compared to the other trailers in the campground. We adore it. An 18' trailer would feel like a mansion to us! A 32' trailer ... well my gosh, I can't even imagine.

I love the 16' Fun Finder - which floor plan did you get? Bunks, couch or dinette? Congratulations and HAVE FUN!!

I've been searching for a small TT that I can tow with my 4 Cyl Saturn Vue an I came across this company: http://www.taylorcoach.com/Default.aspx?tabid=68
Anyone familiar with them??? Its just me and my two dogs, but we'll be traveling across country...packing lightly!

Having moved from a 17' non-slide to a 34' w/2-slides, I'd have to say that it DOES matter!

We have a 17 ft Escape. Moved up from a 13 ft boler because a toilet and shower started to become important. We camp a lot, almost every weekend from Feb/March to Oct/Nov and of course for our 4 weeks of holiday. That size trailer is plenty big for the two of us and a dream to tow. We've towed and camped in all kinds of weather and been very happy with our trailer - it's the one that will see us through! If we were planning to F/T then a small class A would fit the bill but we aren't interested in that lifestyle.

We DH and I just discussed this a few weeks ago while camping with a bunch of fancy Motorhomes with everything, and bigger TT's all around us.

I would have liked the 25 foot one when we bought ours guess most times it probably is the gal wanting more space, but our 21 ft Cherokee is big enough for the two of us plus a small mixed Silky and Aussie Terrier who is our camping dog as well as our all the time dog.

The only thing is the 25ft one had a better bathroom for convenience and getting around in (laid out better), and a couch for when we take a grandchild we wouldn't have lost our dining area, but this doesn't happen to often now as the Teenage grandkids get interested in boys and all instead of going camping with us like they used to do and some of the grandkids are grown.

We said while camping the last of June for a Reunion with family and friends in Howell County, Missouri though that we bet we had as much fun with our 21 ft as the people with the bigger ones had, and it tows easier though with just a Jeep.

Rainy days it might be nice to have a larger one but usually we don't even take a TV just books to read if it is rainy out since we are both Readers. There is no TV attached in our Trailer like in some so we have to carry a 13 inch TV if we want one then lose some counter space in the kitchen to put it up to watch but we have done it. Guess it is all what you get used to probably.

We went from tent camping, to a 1970's series 16' wilderness, to the 2008 tango 25 rks, but.........as our camping "homes" have grown, so has the family, I'd have to say at this point the 25' is perfect (except it cuts my mpg in half......small sacrafice for comfort I suppose ..

YES! especially when you find yourself in a NP cg loop that has a "NO RV TURNAROUND" sign that you see after you have passed the point of no return, like I did this past weekend! I was so glad I had a small trailer when backing up to get out of the situation! I would have still been there if I had a longer TT. lol

Size matters only to those who are going to be using the RV. If they are comfortable & happy, that's what matters. I know now that I wouldn't have been comfortable towing and maneuvering anything larger. We did purchase ours with the thought of possibly four people (DW, DH, DS, & DS's girlfriend) staying in it for a few days. DW & I haven't done that yet, but a niece, husband, & two children (12 & 6) stayed in it for three days/nights in our backyard and said that they were very comfortable. I did notice that the black water tank was full, one of the gray's was 2/3s full (bathroom), and the other gray water tank (kitchen) was 1/3 full. Nice to know information if we're without hookups for a few days.

Ask any woman and she will tell you size matters. And that the size she wants is what matters. If we had no kids with us we would be in a smaller TT for sure. Maybe not 16 ft, but it would be smaller than the 33ft we have now. The smaller ones seem so cozy. I would think we would still have a slide though. Really for 2 folks, a bedroom of the larger size, and a kitchen, and a bathroom, what else is needed. The DW says we need room for grandkids. I was like we still have a 15 yr DS, and a 12 yr old DD, please no GKs for about 15 yrs. (I hope)
