Saw a description in Motorhome magazine about Gulfstream producing a new super C on a sterling chassis but their website says nothing about it. Does anyone have information or seen it. Thanks

Gulfstream makes airplanes. I don't think they are going to switch to Super C's any time soon.
Now if you are talking about Gulf Stream, I do remember seeing something about that in the past week or two. I think it was in a magazine. I'll keep looking and check back...
Edit: Well, duh! I just reread your post -- I think we read the same magazine.
In this economy, they may have scrapped their plans. Magazine info is typically several months old due to publishing deadlines.

FWIW, I toured the Gulf Stream plant a couple of months ago, and didn't see any Sterling chassis work being done. They were pretty happy with what they are doing with the International chassis, and were still producing Chevy 5500 work. They were about ready to phase out Sprinter B plusses, because they were having trouble getting the bodies. They were also pretty proud of a new model they were coming out with on TourMaster Class A with a "media room" in it, which was awesome!

Sterling is, of course, owned by Daimler which also owns Freightliner. They also own Western Star.

Gulf Stream (which on some webpages is also spelled Gulfstream - thank you very much - eg. Martinsburg RV Rated #1 Gulfstream Dealer in the USA for the last two years for customer and service satisfaction!) also makes and already sells at dealers a class A Carribean, which does not show on their webpage.
Web is always behind.

Searching for the Caribbean, I found this information from a dealer in Florida:
39.5 ft. Class A
Price: $ 129,998 Brand New!!
Location: Sanford, Florida
Description: This is a Brand New Coach with all the new warranties!! LaMesa RV bought the remaining chassis at the National RV going out of business auction and had Gulf Stream build the coaches. This is a NEW COACH with a price over $200,000!!! Won't find this deal anywhere. Freightliner chassis, Allison, Thermopane windows, Vinyl Ceiling, Power Awning, Side Cameras, Diesel Generator, Full Body Paint w/Graphics, 350hp Cummins. WOW!! Have them at 38C (39'11") or 35A (38') After this, it's over.

The gulfstream website now shows a super max C built on a sterling chassis. Not the larger truck chassis we were probably thinking of though its a cut away dodge pick up truck. Still looks like it would be a goody though with the beefed up cummins motor. It would look real good parked next to my dodge pick up. I'd like to see it offered in a 4WD model but they don't give much information or specs on it at all.

Well that's different. From the front its reminiscent of the old Del Rey slide ins, I wonder if you can get captains chairs in the overhead?
