Nah, it is still Kyle Bush! Bags.

I've always recognized Rowdy's natural talent. He'll probably be the odds-on favorite for the Championship. But, I've had it in the back of my mind that Chad Knaus has been experimenting with different setups, in preparation for the Chase. IMO there's at least 5 drivers who can realistically win, therefore I look at the talent and depth of the whole team. Johnson and Busch have the least-cluttered life right now, and might be the most focused. It's going to be fun.

When it is all said and done, the cup will go to either 48 or 99.

As much as I don't like him and hate to admit it, it's hard to find anybody hotter on the track then Kyle right now.

Kyle Busch will start the chase with 80 points already in his corner. Plus, his crewchief is a pretty sharp cookie. And, he doesn't yet have any business management distractions (like Tony Stewart and Jeff Gordon, and others). And, he's the only contentender with the most energy and stamina of youth on his side. And, HE knows about chassis dynamics, AND can communicate it. And, he can think on his feet.
IMO Tony Stewart is the best driver of all time, but he now has too many serious distractions.
Kyle Busch, Jimmie Johnson, Carl Edwards, Tony Stewart.....that's how I would bet.

I agree with this list--I'm just not sure about the order.

I think that it will be a Busch, Edwards, and Johnson race to the finish. I can't rank them--too many things can happen over the 10-race Chase.

We are taking our TT to the Camping World 300 NNS race and Pepsi 500 NSCS race over Labor Day weekend. I'm flying my wife and daughter's favorite driver's flags--the #99 and the #88.

I really don't have an absolute favorite driver--but if either one of my girl's choices won, it would be fine with me.

After Sunday, is there any question to the answer of the posters question? There shouldn't be. The answer is the same for before Sunday and after Sunday. Some people just still do not want to accept it. The kid is the hottest and "Most talented" driver in Nascar today that supporters of Little E, Gordon and Stewart need to accept. Embrace his talent because he is a thrill to watch race.

I think we need to define the word "hottest" before answering. If we mean the most successful on the track this year, that has to be Kyle. With 8 victories he is definitely the "hottest". However, if we are talking about the "hottest" guy off the track, I'll leave that one for my daughter-in-law. She follows Nascar like I follow college football. Her knowledge of this sport is amazing. Her favorite driver on and off the track is Jr. However, she likes #99 a lot also.

As much as i hate to say it Kyle Busch is clearly the winningest driver on the track right now. Like him or not the kid can drive. However, I would like to see Cousin Carl give him a good run for it.
