Tonight is another night, so everyone in the east/central time zones really needs to be careful what we say so we don't spoil the fun.
I just need to stay up!

Thanks for that video! I took a nap last night to make sure I would stay up for the finals. US is cleaning up in that pool. And, they finally have the Star Spangled Banner right Something was skipping the first time they played it and then it abruptly ended. Bad CD?

SHEESH Thanks a lot. I wish folks would think about time zones before they post the results to sporting events.
My bad. Just a little "geeked" I guess.

I went to James Monroe High School in San Fernando Valley, Ca. My 10 grade Algebra teacher (1964), Michael Larrabee took home the 'Gold' in the 400 meter event in the 1964 Olympics.
He really related and intermixed with his students. Mike and another teacher (dont recall his name) would play touch/flag football with students during after hours. Of course, if he got past you - you were history!
It was just kinda neat to have a little closer touch to the Olympics than the TV screen.
He has passed. He was a great teacher and humanitarian.

I found them when I was 10 - they were in California.

Thanks for that link. Sounds like he was pretty special person. Especially to have left such an impression on a young sophmore in high school.
He has a new fan......
