I've got it!!!!! Remember the "live long and prosper" sign the Vulcans on Star Trek used when greeting others? That would be very distinctive and we would all know what it means.

Dustytuu- I have been trying to get Rvers with CBs to use either Ch 19 or 13 and just say "HELLO". The DW always waves to at any MH we pass on the road. Most of the time they wave back. Kids are great and always seem to wave at us first.
Back to Cbs. I now have a sign on my rear window with
"CH 19, 17 or 15
Winnie"
Haven't had much luck yet with anyone giving me a call. I do on occassion give a shout " Break 19, any Rvers out there? " No one yet, but I'm not giving up.

Perhaps if we made a topic with a link to a webpage. We could have a sign that could be print up denoting that we are RV Forum memebers and ready to chat.
Maybe something like:

RV FORUM
CH 19 or 13
Winnie

I keep saying that when at a CG and walking around, don't we always say "Hello" to our fellow campers? Why should it be any diffent on the road?
Anyway, if you Rvers see me out there on the road, give me a shout on the CB or wave.

Well yes, they do!! We encountered some of those "waves" last summer while trying to get to Niagara Falls -- basically our first trip with the new TT, from West Texas to New York, Vermont, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, and D.C. and back. We were away 5 1/2 weeks, and could definitely have stayed gone longer if we hadn't had to get back to Texas for our youngest grandson's second birthday.

{{{sigh}}} I am sooo ready to go again and be able to spend more time at all the places we had to hurry through to get to the next location!!!

I DO like the idea of a "thumbs up" sign when greeting other RVers.

Why not use the "OK" sign? Sorta like saying "you're Ok, how am I?" as we check out each other on the way. It will not be mistaken for a "something isn't right with your rig" sign.

Since senator obama and his wife have made the "pow" sign popular right now, maybe we could use that one. Just lay your right hand up on the top of the steering wheel with your fist closed..... that should be simple enough?

I always kinda liked the "shaking gun" Thumb and index finger, it says hello but also says lets go. And if ya'll (yes I say ya'll) are like me the best thing in life is "lets go"....I will be installing a CB soon as I get back home we definately need a channel there.

We pull a pop up. When we pass other pups, I always put my arms up, bend at elbow, palms toward roof, and raise them up and down, in a "raise the roof" fashion. DH says if anyone ever sees me they will think I am nuts but...I almost always do this. Maybe I am nuts.

Whoop whoop, raise you hands in the air like you just don't care, raise the roof, roof, roof!

The squirrels are coming, they think Yooperwannabe is nuts!
