Hey there
I'm not currently a chapter member, but I want you to know that every time I contacted Good Sam for a chapter referral, they found SOMEBODY for me. If you had a bad experience, try again. Maybe you hit them during a crunch, or the person was swamped at the time and you got buried. I recently used their Chapter finder on the website and got several local ideas. This winter I hope to hook up with a southern Nevada chapter. Don't give up!

We have not been able to get any info on the local groups. They had a samboree going I e-mailed some one and got the impression that if we could not be there all week that we were wasting our time, and theirs.. Also it was being held a a fairgrounds not my idea of camping..If we run across a group on one of our trips I might talk with the some more.

Last autumn we met with our Good Sam state coordinator and asked about connecting with a local club. He would not give us contact information, but took information from us and said it would be furnished to someone who would contact us. Nine months later, still no contact.
We have a good local club not affiliated with GS, that meets every month, and camps for several days each month March through November, if enough people are healthy enough to go and the regional campgrounds are not under flood waters.
