The wife wants to take the kids to Sesame Place in Langhorne, PA. I have searched for RV parks close by but the closest one I can find is 45 minutes away. Does anyone know of a RV Park or Campground that is with in ~15 minutes of Sesame Place? Thanks!

Dont know of one that close but DW and I stayed in the Hersey area. The drive down to Sesame place was no problem. Wore the kids out down there and they had a little nap on the way back to Hersey. Sesame is a great place, a ton of water rides. Enjoy.

The closest I found and liked was in NJ called Timberlane in Clarksboro. It is about 20 min but it is all highway driving. Sites are small but we were never there for campground events. We have used as home base for Sesame Place and Philly Zoo for past 4 yrs as we go at least once a summer. http://www.timberlanecampground.com/attractions.htm

I've lived in southern NJ all my life, drove an ambulance here in my first career. If you're getting from Clarksboro to Langhorne in 20 minutes you're breaking the land speed record. It's more like 40 and that's without traffic. I used to do regular weekly trip from Palmyra, NJ to Bensalem Pa and that was 20 minutes. It probably is the closest campground because I've done the same search since we bought our HTT and became foster parents, but it is absolutely not a 20 minute drive, no way.

Try this one in Green Lane PA....http://www.homesteadcampground.com/
We had reservations earlier this year and had a change of plans. Reasonable rates and they advertise they are close to Sesame Place.

Hi,
Can't help you with a campground near Sesame Place. I can say that we stopped there a couple of years back. It is predominantly a water park, so be prepared for that. In our opinion, it was over-priced and very "Six Flags-ish". The kids had an OK time, but they really haven't asked to go back.
One place they DID like is Dutch Wonderland. They are always talking about going back there, and we plan to next summer. There is a campground right outside the park called Old Mill Stream Campground so you can walk to DW if you wish. (The campground is nice, although some of the sites are a bit tricky to get into. The management is nice and the facilities are clean.) In our opinion, the admissions and concessions at DW are fairly priced and the kids LOVE it. It's really geared for children up to about ages 11 or 12. It was recently acquired by Hershey Park and there have been some nice improvements over the last 5 years or so.
I would estimate it's about a 45 minute drive from DW to Sesame. But if it were up to me, I'd scratch Sesame and spend the time at DW and maybe a day at Hershey Park. There's so much to see in the Lancaster, PA area and the local restaurants offer great meals at very good prices.
Have a great trip where ever you go,

Lived my whole life in Levittown...about 5 minutes from Sesame Place. There are no campgrounds in the range your looking at...got to to at least 30-40 minutes...
I wish there were some closer myself.
