Once you have looked, then drop back a few years and go for something better...forget the warranties and save a bunch of bucks up front...keep it in the kitty for any issues. Take it where you want or do your own fixing and save yourself the heartache and aggravation of dealer horror stories. Also might pay to buy from an individual for even more savings....
How about this from the Fort Myers, FL Newspress for example...

Here is a question not yet answered to me, what is the difference in financing the "used" motor home versus the new? Is it like a car where the difference in percent interest will "kill" you spending the same money but on a used coach? For instance, your payment for a "new" $80,000 coach will be a lot less than a three year old $80,000 coach? Any help?????

This is not your common scam prone internet ad, but a local newpaper. All I'd have to do is drive up the road a piece and take a look at it. In fact, I considered it, even though, another coach is the last thing I need right now. Besides, I love would be scammers, they are so much fun to play with and I've done it often. I was born at night, but it wasn't last night...lol

We have a 2007 Georgetown 378 and are very happy with it. A few minor problems but dealer fixed them. We have had it for about 16 months now and have made several long trips one to Maine, Upstate NY and SC ride is very comfortable and love the layout with the double slide up front.

Hi< I can't really vouch for any except what I have and had. First I had a 99 Gulfstream Sunvoyager 32'. Bought it in 02 had many problems with it none of them very serious though. Next we went to Atalatic City RV show and purchased a 04 Fleetwood Southwind 32V thought it was going to be the last one but I guess we were never really satified with it, not that we had any problem except a small leak on the passenger side which I fixed pretty easy. Than after looking at e-bay for awhile came across the one we have now, a 2008 Georgetown 378 TSF
Had it since April 25 2008. No problems so far. We picked it up in Cincinnati drove it home to New Jersy with no problems at all. I didn't feel tired from driving like it did with the Southwind. I think you get a lot of bang for the buck with the Georgetown. We really like the floorplan on ours.
Well that's my .02 Good Luck with whatever you get. Enjoy the heck out of it, we do. Feel free to PM if you need any info.....Joe in Jersey not to far from Camping World exit 10 RT 295 Bridgeport.

We bought an entry level Hurricane in 2000. all of the 'resaons', only 2 of us, don't need the extras, etc. About 4 years later we traded for a National SeaBreeze with all the 'bells and whistles', like it much better. Tropical gives good advice. Look around at what's available. Then drop back a couple of years and pay the same price for a used MH that has a lot moe features. If you look properly it will be in good shape and you'll be a lot happier knowing you don't have to trade again for that 'gotta have' extra feature.
Good luck and come down to Fla to see our beautiful weather, AKA Fay......bobk
livin' and lovin' the retired life in Fl. And travellin' in our MH.
