The drain hose in our sink (white one with blue coils) went south last trip. Left quite a mess that we noticed during the trip. It essentially frayed and split.
Should I just get a new one from the dealer or is there a cheaper/better alternative?
Thanks

You might check out the flexible hoses at HomeDepot/Lowes - or maybe PVC/glue.
If all else fails, you dealer will have them.

I would tend to suggest getting a similar hose, as it has the structural support on the outside to keep the hose wall at it's most possible open position.
With a drain hose, there is no real water pressure to keep the hose from collapsing and kinking, thereby causing a backup into your sink. If you do go with something else, use solid-wall PVC pipes.

I woul suggest finding out why the original bit the dust. If it got pinched or rubbed you'll need to fix the condition or buy a supply of hoses.
