Has anyone stay at this park since they changes names? Might try it for a couple of months this winter. I like the location, but have never been in the park. It is on Nellis Blvd. right close to Sam's Town.

We stayed there for 14 days in the fall of 2006 and thought it was fine. Mostly asphalt and decent enough size campsites. It seemed to be very popular and they said if filled up in the winter.

We will stay there when we go back to Vegas. It isn't a RV RESORT by any means, but fine for what we wanted.

Thanks for info, I really not looking for a so called "resort", but some of the places in Vegas are not really where I want to have my motorhome. I have been buy this place, but never stayed there. I know they get pretty full in the winter. Most of the rv spots in vegas are getting to pricey. I usually stay out at the lake every winter, but this time wanted to try in town.

Stayed at Las Vegas Resort in January 2008 for a few days. DW will not go back. Unfortunately, it was crowded, paved (no flora) and (relatively speaking) unfriendly. When we returned to Las Vegas later in our winter trip, we stayed at Oasis...much better in terms of site size, people (campers and staff), noise levels. Of course, you said you didn't want the "resort" type of park, so it might be a non-starter for you anyhow.

I would like to stay at the Oasis, but and this is a big but, they want $300.00 more a month than the LV Resort . I have been there and it is a very nice park, but on a monthly or more, I can't do it. Of course, after I win big at the local slot house maybe I can.lol Thank for info.

We spent the month of March there and I liked it just fine. During our stay, the staff was friendly. The only problem was the pool and hot tub kept breaking down. Oasis looked nice, but I refuse to pay that much money.
