Just wanted to thank everyone for the advise on my other thread. I ultimately choose the Jayflight without the slide. We are going from a 21ft hybrid to this so it is a big jump for us. Plus we got a deal we could not pass up. I don't think the previous owner ever used this thing. Well here it is 2004 27BH. Can't wait for the 1st trip. Also, should I be towing this with Overdrive on or off?

It is advisable to tow with OD off.

Congratulations, I am sure you will enjoy. I would tow with OD off in hilly country. If level roads I would have it on. But you need to look at owners manual of tow vehicle.

nice lookin camper.
depends on your tow vehicle whether you can tow in OD or not. as a general rule you can tow in OD only if your trans does not hunt back and forth in and out of OD. hence i use OD on the freeway only and speeds above 60 mph or so when my truck has no problem holding OD, but lock out OD on the 2 lane roads.
