We are leaving Buffalo late friday and crossing Canada to Port Huron and then up to Mackinaw. We would like to get as far as Port Huron and then stop for the night before proceeding on to Mackinaw. Are there any Wal-mart's around to stop and stay for a few hours around Port Huron or even in Canada before getting to Port Huron that are safe and accept campers overnight? There is a Walmart north of town on M25 but I don't now if overnighting is allowed. I've never seen anyone there.

I would recommend:

Port Huron KOA or Lakeport SP 25 mi. north on M25.
