I understand where you coming from! I started out with a Honda 1000 which I now never use since I have the panels. I started out with 110 W; it wasn't enough. I use the computer a lot which consumes about 5 amps, more than the frig at 2.4 A The inverter with no load takes .75A. All lights where replaced with LED's. The battery, a D-8 250 AH AGM provides sufficient reserve. We never are on shore power in the six months of the road.
Too bad were not neighbors!

My wife won't let me ditch the family for six months at a time. I bought this rig primarily for trips of up to two weeks but mostly 2-4 nights. I have an online forum that I need to try and check daily but my laptop has three+ hours on its battery and I can recharge it during the night while it's off plugging into the inverter.
I've wondered about the LED replacement bulbs but I can get away with one light running and I think that's only about 1.5 amps. However, for bedtime reading, I tend to use a tiny LED clip light that goes on the brim of my ball cap.
We Traverse owners are a rare bread as most people who buy rigs like this have Westy's or Sportsmobiles. I was heading towards a Sportsmobile last year when ARCruiser found this unit online and PM'd me about it. My net cost was $16,850 (plus shipping and local taxes) for a 2002 with 44k miles on it. I couldn't find anything else remotely close to it for the money. It was driven and used but it was in great shape. The only odd thing the previous owner did was remove the tambor door and install two maple laminated doors similar to the wardrobe doors. I got a new tambor door assembly from the factory but have yet to tackle installing it. Honestly, I think it might be more convenient leaving that cabinet open and using a couple spring loaded closet bars to keep things secure.

Moon did it while most of us were kids or not even born yet (I'm 57). It was a real inspiration for me to travel those secondary roads and I still do when the opportunity arises.
