OK guys I admit I have no understanding of how satellite systems work.

Dish Network just allowed me to upgrade to their ViP211 HD satellite receiver. I would like to use that receiver in my motor home with my current KVH TrackVision LF system. The KVH system uses the Dish Network Legacy Dual LNB. Similar to this:

The little bit I know about HD satellite is there are now using different encryption or what ever that is completely different from the old LNB's. I understand I can not receiver HD signals with the KVH antenna, but I would still like to receive satellites 110 and 119.

This is where the problem starts. When the 211 receiver is connected to the KVH antenna, the antenna drives to one of it limits (AZ) and rapidly flashes the power light indicator. This indicates some type of error. I'm hoping I can install some type of separator or satellite switch that might make the 211 receiver 'compatible' with the KVH system.

I'm hoping to tap into the large knowledge base here before I have to pay to talk to a tech a KHV. It appears that KVH now charges for support if you system in not under warranty.

I'm willing to do that but I'm hoping to find my answer here first.
