Actually, yes, buyer beware, but they've been doing this for over 50 years that I know of! Just MORE doing it now. I also remember seeing a product (corn?) for sale on the end of an aisle -- 3 for $1.00....but down in the aisle with the other veggies, the same can sold for $.30!!!! ALWAYS be AWARE!

No but they changed the size requirement. A large now is what a medium used to be and to get a large you have to buy an extra large.  And try to buy a 5 lb bag of sugar, oh yeah, it's 4 lbs now! Pretty soon we'll be paying everything for nothing!

One I have noticed is one of the largest stores has soft drinks in 20 pack not the usual 24 pack. Around here some stores carry peeled crawfish in 12 or 14oz instead of the usual 16oz.

I'm addicted to Kroger's Lite Rocky Road ice cream.
Ever since I can remember, standard ice cream packaging was a 1/2 gallon. Not too long ago, major ice cream manufacturers started packaging ice cream in 1.75 quart packages. I thought I was so lucky because Kroger hadn't started doing that.
Last month, surprise, surprise!! ...my favorite ice cream started showing up in these smaller packages. Not only that, they have the gall to even charge more for them than they did the 1/2 gallon size! These smaller packages look identical but have substantially less ice cream in them!!!! 
Since I'm addicted, I have no choice but to buy it!

Kingsford charcoal has done it again. It used to be 20lb bags and then went to 18lb bags and NOW it is 17lb bags. Of course the price has risen not shrunk like the product. Happening everywhere. The manufactures are hoping you will not notice.
