Recently while workamping in the Medford, Oregon area I broke my ankle/leg. I had surgery in which they placed two plates and 16 screws in my right leg. This is being covered by oregon workers comp.

My question is, I am now in Las Vegas at my daughters house to recover, which they say may take 9 months. I am in the area of Craig and Rancho. I need a recomendation of a good Orthopedic surgeon close by that would take over my care. If you wish send me a pm or email me at rvrodaz@hotmail.com

Sorry if I posted in wrong area as this is my first time posting on this forum

Thanks,
Rod

Also have your daughter this is the better of the many advices you will recieve.. This will give you a link to the surgeon on a near personal relationship.. not just a "going in cold".. Next would be a local health network referral..

Rod, I live in Las Vegas, and I can highly recommend the Desert Orthopedic Group, here's a site listing their physicians/surgeons:

I wish you the best with your recovery,

I work in healthcare and we have several facilities in LV. I too receommend Desert Orthodedic. They are on staff at several quality hospitals in town. Good luck on your recovery. Are you going to receive any rehab (PT) while in LV. If you need a referral on that, PM me and I can get you in with preferred scheduling.
