wny_pat wrote: Hankook has a good national dealer network. Been extremely popular in this part of the country in almost all applications. Even the police vehicles around here are running them. Had a set on my Class C, infact it was all I could find. Would have to do some homework before I would put them on my Class A, considering the other options available. Somebody just reported getting Goodyear 19.5" next size up (245/70/19.5) at Sears for $260 I think. Just saw the thread in this forum so it should be close by. At that price I would be compareing the two side by side. Here is the link about the Goodyear G670s at Sears for oops, $290 out the door at Sears: http://www.rv.net/forum/index.cfm/fuseaction/thread/tid/21791587.cfm

You can get a better price and ride on Cooper 120's 8R19.5. They're made here in the U.S. and I just had 2 new front tires installed out the door for $269 total, that's $135 per tire. Last set of Coopers have back 4 still on 8+ years good tread but will replace them this fall. Contact Tread Mill in Monroe, MI for prices for full set.

snidly,
I bought these exact tires of my Bounder to replace the Goodyears. Took a 3000 mile trip and had no issues and could not tell difference from Goodyears. Price was very reasonable too. Another friend bought these tires and is very happy. When time comes, I will buy another set again.

I used to run Hankooks on some of the trucks I owned and do not recall any problems with them. I will be looking into them when its time for new tires on the MH.

1. The name does not exactly inspire confidence.
2. I would be very leery of any chinese tires, due diligence, and all that.
3. Ford could not do any worse than the Firestones of a few years back.
4. Sully, hang in there.

Instead of just voicing items which have no basis in facts-maybe you should educate yourself a little:
http://www.hankooktireusa.com/
Include the press release sections about how the above tires are winning off-road events. More abuse than your RV will ever take......

Hankook is a brand owned by a KOREAN company. If any are manufactured in China, it would be a joint venture supervised by the brand owner, same as Chinese manufactured Bridgestone, Firestone, Michelin, Cooper and Goodyear.

OK, they are made in Korea..
I stand by my goofy name comment.
And still say Chinese tires are suspect.
I did not know anyone made off-road tires for motorhomes.
