Looking to buy a 5th wheel and I am looking for some advice regarding what kind of truck I should get. I've been debating between a GMC 3500 dualley or a Dodge Ram3500 dually. What's your point of view?

My signature says GMC, but either one should do fine, depending on your choice of trailer, your personal preference, and the deal you are able to negotiate. Get the Duramax or Cummins diesel, whichever you buy, if you are going to be pulling a big fiver. Gas engines run out of oomph when pulling all that weight, plus the considerable extra wind drag of a tall fiver vs. a TT. Add in a headwind, a few hills, and a mountain or two,and you will regret it if you didn't get a diesel.

I test drove all 3. I liked the Chevy, but a friend bought a dodge.
