I think most fires caused by atvs/mc/cars/etc are due to rocks being flung and creating spark and hot engines parked on grassland, not the spark from the tailpipe.

Anyone ever here of a wild fire started because of a dirtbike or atv throwing a spark? Just asking!

Yes, a non spark arrestor exhaust can start a fire.....as can a vehicle with a hot cat if you park on dry stuff.

Railroad rolling stock can do it too from the brakes. That's why they kill everything on the rail lines. Trailer safety chains will do it too dragging on the road.
