I bought a 2006 Forest River Lexington 283 a few months ago from Mid-State RV, Byron, GA. Didn't get to take it out for a few weeks after I bought it, but on a trip from Atlanta, GA to Nashville, TN we had heavy rain all the way and after we got settled I was checking out my closet and had a stack of T-Shirts that were soaking wet. Short story, called salesman after I got back explained what had happened and he said they would cover any repair that was needed. Took it back and when the service writter and I were going out to check it out the owner came by service and ask if I needed anything. Anyway he checked out the roof himself and authorized a complete reseal of the whole roof. I've seen several posts lately about roofs leaking and I think we all should make it a habit to check roofs more often. I see alot of bad reports on dealers, so I just wanted to give one good one.

Dealer completely resealed my roof when I bought it used. Started leaking 6 months later. I applied Eternabond to all seams and hasn't leaked since.
Roofs should be checked twice a year...
