When I filed for divorce from my ex, part of the package I offered to settle was a new car(though not a Porche). She took the car in liew of alimony. Car cost me a one tme check, alimony would still have me writing a check each month. Well worth it to me.

My first wife took my hi performance car in our divorce too. It was a 1967 Mustang 2+2 with a very highly modified 390 in it. She did not really want it, she just did not want me to have it if you know what I mean.
She regretted it as it was a real pain to maintain with all the custom tune settings an special parts and such back in day before computers.
Within a matter of months it was not running well (and it ate gas like it owned the well)at around 6-8 MPG and nobody could seem to tune it but me.
I got it back very cheap via a third party buyer that convinced her the motor was shot. Just needed my tune skills was all.
When she found out I had the car back she was madder than ~~ I made it a point to let her know the car run great right after I got it back. Paybacks are ~~~ well you know.
Married two years to that drifty blonde. No kids, $1 for all time alimony and that was too much.
Got a red head and been married for just shy of 39 years now.
