Tell me if Im nuts?
New at rv- ing. In construction by trade (IF IT HELPS)
I purchsed Santara rv with some vandalizime done.It has 40000 thou. on engine and drive train .. 118 hours on Onan 4kw genny. It has a Broken driver side window, broken double slider pass.side window. A couple of broken cabinet doors... no problem got glue. Not to boot the lower 8-10" of foam on the driver side....

The foof is shot but has epdm sheet good. I start to see the under lay material ( probably luan)
I started to replace the foam board and insert galv. metal "z" studs in its place and reface the interior with luan. I kept the metal stud in strategic places so I have a screw surface to work with inside and ext. It worked for the first 4x8 sheet (upright) I still kept good clearances with window trim and cabinets. And then plan paint the inside. The exterior I was going to purchase Alum. trim with vinyl insert to try to suck in the bubbles in the on the ouside. The ext. luan under the filon is shot is shot!!!
I'm not looking for a perfect exterior.
By the way... has anybody been in my shoes?
