Well, I know what I'm doing this weekend: helping my friend set up his F-250 to pull his trailer. New hitch, figure out the drop he needs, rewire the brake controller, and install the 4 Treadwright tires (arrived today) to replace the worn-out Dayton Timberlines.

So, anyone care to guess how many trips to NAPA this will require?

I will guess 3 trips, maybe more depending on your experience, materials on hand, and what you start out with, maybe less.

2003 Jayco 308fbs eagle 33' tt, towed by a 2003 Ram 3500 slt, quad cab dually, cummins diesel ho, trailer towing package, with 6 speed manual. Hauls better 1/2, 3 kids, myself, and a 2003 ez go clays car.. I have added so far, neon lights, clearance lights, back up lights, black light, lift kit, mud tires, and everything necessary to make the golf cart street legal. It's now ready to spend the winter in the garage for more mods. More neon, strobe lights, alarm, a pa system, maintance, and whatever else that comes along. This golf cart does wheelies and travels thru 7 inches of mud when need be. Two honda eu2000i gens twinned to supply the electrical power. Latest addition an 04 Honda Goldwing. I will guess 4 trips, but that could change if adult beverages are consumed

For me, if you have an adjustable hitch head, no trips to the store at all - but I have way too much stuff in my shop...

Have fun, that's the kind of job that's very enjoyable with a good buddy.

4 1/2 trips, now if your wondering where the 1/2 comes from it is when you are part way home and remember that you forgot something else you need so you have to turn around and go back to get it. Then off to home again.

My money is on one, maybe two, only to NAPA. I have all the tools we'll need (fully equipped garage, including a torch & air tools), and he's bringing the parts. The trip will be because I do not know yet what I'll need to rewire the brake controller.
