I have been looking at new trailers for over a year now checking out quality and sturdiness. Most of the luxury toy haulers are very nice, and they all have their problems. I just bought a Winners Circle. Made by Dutchmen which is a part of Thor Industries. They have been around for a long time, and are rated quite well. This trailer is not luxury, but it is very nice and includes a lot of the supposed "luxury" items. The build is very solid. The best part is they are inexpensive. I never thought I would be able to pick up a 2008 40ft, triple axel TH with a 12' gargage and two slides for $32500. Might check them out too.

I'm looking at THs too. The salesman at the local Fleetwood dealer wouldn't even show me the Gearboxes because he had seen too many come back recently with leaks behind the front cover (whatever it is called). I'm looking at Desert Foxes (from Northwood), but they only have a few (maybe one) 5th wheel TH in the size you're looking for.

Oh i forgot about the foxes they are great! They totally stand behind their product sometimes we get the he said she said between the dealer we bought from and the manufacturer that made it.
If i were to buy again i would go with the next level or attitude/Stellar since fancy rv's are not really practical for toy hauling Its hard to know what you want & need when you are not actually using it.

Great post...We are in the market for a new toyhauler and have yet to find one that fits our standards...not too large, 1/2 garage as we only have one Harley, and nice interior fabrics (somewhere between not to fluffy, but not too masculine). We would like to stay with Holiday Rambler as that's what we presently have and are very happy with. But the Next Levels do not appeal to us for decor. So, we'll wait until the right one comes along!

Has anybody heard anything about the Big Dog Toy Hauler by Sunny Brook, good or bad. Thinking of indulging, but would like some feedback.
Thanks

Now I may be biased, but the KZ should be on the list.

We have a Raptor 3612. We do not consider any of the Toyhaulers we have been in luxurious after having a pretty nice Motorhome & covered trailer combo. Toyhaulers are just nice & comfortable. An important feature is wall construction. The Raptor has aluminum wall studs. This is important to keep things together. When we were taking ours in for warranty work, yes they ALL will require work, there were other brands with the cabinets coming off the walls because of wood stud construction. Some have had frame & axle problems and sinking floors. After over 36,000 miles including two trips of over 5,000 miles in Mexico, a lot of trailers do not survive a single trip, we will be going back South of the Border for another 5,000 mile trip. We have had to tighten a few things, but the Raptor has not fallen apart from use. Yes, we hate the carpet and plan to take it out this year after three years of use. Look first for reliability, ask at Dealer shops which Toyhaulers are in for what work and make YOUR choice. Good luck!
