I am so sorry to hear your dog is sick. I hope & pray they figure out what is wrong with her and that she responds well to the treatment.

The vet just said they know what's NOT wrong!!

Something similar happened to my lab a few years ago. Never did know the cause, but it was scary. He did not have worms, though. He was given fluids and medication-think an antibiotic and a pill for diarrhea and vomiting. I kept him on a rice and clear broth diet and he bounced back in a few days. Good luck. I hope you have the same outcome. My thoughts are with you.

My little Maggy crossed over the bridge around 2:00 this morning. She died peacefully in my arms. In fact, for about an hour I didn't even know she had died. She had been walking around the house just before that and walked to the water bowl and just sat there. She hadn't eaten since she threw up Saturday and I tried all kinds of good smelling foods, even cooked chicken so I could feed her the broth with a medicine dropper. I did take her to 2 different vets for a second opinion. I thought the patients blood gases would give them an idea of their condition and whether they were critical but neither vet told me things didn't look good. I've had enough pets to know when they stop eating then stop drinking for a few days, it's a very bad sign. The second Dr. at the vet hospital gave her an enema to clean her out after the x-rays. She couldn't see any tumors. It's really hard when our beloved pet's health deteriorates so quickly and we don't know the cause. I just know I did everything I could for her. She was one of the dogs I adopted from a rescue group about a year ago. She was very sweet and clingy to me. The vet said she was older than I had been told so I'm wondering if her heart just gave out. She had a dental about 6 weeks ago and had 2 teeth pulled. I wonder if she had a blood clot from that???
Thanks for letting me pour out my heart.

So sorry for your loss. It's particularly hard when you know what's happening and can't do anything about it. Just know that Maggy had you with her and she was loved.

So sorry to hear she didn't make it. But at least she was with you when she passed so wasn't afraid to be alone. She knew you loved her.

I am so sorry that your little Maggie passed. I hope you'll have comfort in knowing that you made her last years comfortable and filled with love.

I'm so sorry she didn't pull through... you surely did all you could for her, now you need to take care of yourself for a while.
