Digitalize it, and store the real mccoy papers in a safe deposit box near the designated family member who gets the job of sorting through your life. Leave how to's in there also....

Make sure that they have full access to the box, and if you perish, the first thing they do when that bank opens or before it closes....ASAP is get it emptied before they get notified of your death.
